JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answers inquiries regarding policies, procedures, practices, training, and communications.Support and prepare the monthly payroll and timekeeping records.Investigates and responds to issues and provides transactional support as needed.Partner with HR specialists in areas such as, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Employee Services, and Talent and Development to maximize program and service delivery to the employee populationManages recruitment process including posting job req on various platforms, screening of candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.Supports the annual performance management and merit review process.Responsible for submission and/or completion of various HR-related transactional tasks; such as, employee data changes and other correspondence, recordkeeping and maintenance related to employee personnel and training records.Manages employees onboarding.Prepares employment contracts, salary variation letters, certificates of employment, end of probation letters, training agreements, and other letters/documents as requiredConducts exit interviews and manages offboardingManages relationships with polytechnics for internships and with training organizations for apprenticeshipsManages timesheets and liaises with payroll to communicate pay variations.Manages employee benefits, and related administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree preferredMinimum 2 years' experience in human resource core principle knowledge 


QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent English written and verbal communication skillsMust work independently with minimal guidance and manage workload/priorities as appropriateMaintain strict confidentiality with employee informationThorough knowledge of Singapore labor laws. Knowledge of Australia labor law preferredBias for customer service - proactive communication to supervisors, customers and team members, delivers on commitments, and is knowledgeable and accurate regarding expertiseExceptional PC skills; including MS Office. Taleo, Peoplesoft and Timeclock Plus knowledge preferredMaintain professional relationships and commitment through contribution, flexibility, and positive attitude
